Hi! I’m Fay… au fait.

Why Fay au Fait? Because it distills who I am at my core. Au fait in French means “to be familiar with” or “to have knowledge of” — a perfect nod to my insatiable curiosity and lifelong love of learning, especially in the realms of wellbeing, spirituality, and human potential. The phrase felt natural: French is the language I grew up speaking, and I’m drawn to the symmetry and harmony in its sound — a small reflection of the balance I seek in life.

Diversity runs through my story. I was born in Thailand, raised in Belgium, and built my career in London, speaking five languages along the way. Adaptability, openness, and resilience became survival skills. But in my search to belong, I pushed too hard — overworking, overtraining, overachieving — until becoming a mother forced me to stop and find radically new ways of being.

As a foodie and keen cook, I’ve always been passionate about good food, but my journey into holistic health began in my mid-twenties with yoga. Ashtanga’s disciplined flow helped quiet my restless mind and gave me a framework to notice the karmic ripple between how I felt, how I acted, and how life unfolded. Yet, I still pushed hard. My true turning point came much later, when I discovered how to meet myself with gentleness — to slow down, soften, and accept myself fully. That shift changed everything.

Only after years of practice did meditation truly find me. Silent Vipassana retreats opened the door to a deeper stillness and presence I hadn’t known was possible. Alongside this, I immersed myself in shamanic practices and animism — ways of seeing that honour the soul in all things and invite us into a living relationship with the natural world. These experiences deepened my gratitude for life and my trust in nature’s cycles.

Today, as a certified nutritionist, naturopath, and guide, I weave together whole-food nutrition, seasonal living, and daily practices that help people return to their natural rhythm. To me, health is not just the absence of symptoms — it is vibrant energy, lightness, and joy, lived in harmony with body, mind, and spirit.

This is the work of my life: to walk alongside others on their path of healing and self-discovery, and to help them remember that slowing down is not a loss of momentum, but the very place where wisdom and vitality take root — and where life begins to feel truly yours.
