They suddenly look like something from a boutique retreat and they taste like a small celebration of the heart.

There is a theme moving through HOME in April: strength.

Not the loud, performative kind. Not the kind measured in output or intensity. But something steadier. Something that lives in the body quietly… in the bones, in the breath, in the ability to stay.

Ahead of a workshop on strength, I was asked how nutrition might support it. And I found myself sitting with the question a little longer than expected. Because true strength, the kind that lasts, is not built through force. It is built through nourishment, consistency, and the subtle act of resourcing the body day after day.

This is where this elixir began.

A simple blend of black sesame, tahini, and hemp seeds. Ingredients that, in their own way, are deeply restorative. Rich in minerals, supportive to muscles and bones, and gently sustaining to energy without pushing the system beyond what it can hold.

And then, a small but meaningful addition: maca.

Often thought of for energy and resilience, maca also carries something softer. It supports the systems that underpin healthy hair, skin, and nails, offering a kind of strength that is not only structural, but visible. The kind that shows up as vitality, glow, and quiet robustness.

The result is warm, grounding, and quietly fortifying.

A different kind of strength. One you can feel from within… and, over time, begin to see on the outside too.

Yin–Yang Balance

This elixir is deeply nourishing and grounding. Black sesame, tahini and hemp seeds build yin and blood, supporting bones, tissues and long term resilience.

Cinnamon introduces gentle warmth, aiding digestion and helping the body transform and absorb nutrients. Cacao brings a more complex quality, offering deep nourishment while also softly activating circulation and uplifting mood.

Maca acts as a bridge, supporting the body’s adaptive capacity and helping to balance energy over time. It contributes both to internal resilience and outward vitality.

The result is a balanced expression of strength: anchored, nourished, and quietly energised.
